Pittsburgh Panthers Jersey Editions: 2025 Limited, Vapor and Replica

The Pittsburgh Panthers jersey category is one of the tidiest on the site. Every listing is football, there are only three editions, and the same core names run through two of them. The editions differ in how you choose the color and in which colors are available. Here is each one in turn.

2025 Limited Stitched

The 2025 Limited Stitched edition is the current one. Each player has a single listing with a Choose Your Color menu, and the menu offers five options: Gold, Navy, Navy Alter, Royal and White. The names are:

A custom Name, Number 2025 Limited Stitched listing uses the same five-color menu. The descriptions for this edition state a 100% recycled polyester body, stitched tackle twill letters and numbers, and embroidered applique and graphics. The photo at the top of this page shows the navy version.

Vapor Limited College Football Stitched

The Vapor Limited line puts the color in the title instead of a menu, and it offers one more colorway than the 2025 line. Each player has six: White, Royal, Royal Alternate, Navy, Navy Alternate and Gold. The names are:

Compared with the 2025 line, Konata Mumpfield is added and Kenny Johnson and Steel City are not part of it. The other difference is Royal Alternate, which the 2025 menu does not offer.

One thing to expect when browsing: every player and color combination in this edition is listed twice with an identical title. The custom Vapor Limited listing is also repeated in some colors. They are duplicates, not different designs, so either page will give you the same colorway.

Navy College Football Replica Uniform

The third edition is labelled Pitt Panthers rather than Pittsburgh Panthers and comes in navy only. Its title reads Navy College Football Replica Uniform, and the roster is entirely different from the two lines above:

Choosing between the two current editions

For the five names in both the 2025 Limited and Vapor Limited lines (Aaron Donald, Dan Marino, Daniel Carter, Desmond Reid and Eli Holstein), the choice comes down to two things:

• Color range: pick Vapor Limited if you want Royal Alternate.
• Format: pick 2025 Limited if you prefer switching colors on one page rather than opening a separate listing for each.

Kenny Johnson #2 and Steel City #412 are only in the 2025 Limited line. For Konata Mumpfield, it is Vapor Limited or the navy Replica.

Gold, royal and the alternates

Pitt’s palette here has two blues and a gold. Navy is the darker blue shown in the photo above, and Royal is the brighter one; both lines offer each. The alternates are separate designs rather than new shades: Navy Alter in the 2025 menu, and Navy Alternate plus Royal Alternate in the Vapor titles. Gold is the one non-blue jersey apart from White, and it is available in both current lines for every player. If you are buying two jerseys for a pair of fans, choosing the same colorway label across both lines keeps the look consistent.

Number overlap

Only one number is shared between two names: 25 belongs to Desmond Reid in the 2025 and Vapor Limited lines and to Darelle Revis in the Replica edition. If you are ordering by number alone, check the nameplate in the photos.

Sizing

Sizes run S to 3XL for Men, Women and Youth across all three editions.
