Open the Stanford Cardinal jersey category and you will see what looks like one football line listed twice. There are in fact two Vapor Limited sets with almost the same wording, and they do not carry the same players. This guide explains how to tell them apart from the title, who is in each, and what the other listings on the page are.
Spotting the two sets by title
The difference is one word and its position:
- Set A reads “Stanford Cardinal Vapor Limited College Football Stitched” followed by the color.
- Set B reads “Stanford Cardinal Jersey Vapor Limited College Football” followed by the color, without “Stitched”, and the word “Jersey” appears a second time after the team name.
Several Set B titles also spell the school “Standford”. Those listings belong to the same set; the misspelling is in the title only. If a search for Stanford misses a player, try the “Standford” spelling.
Set A: Vapor Limited College Football Stitched
Every name in Set A comes in five colorways, each its own listing: White, Crimson, Crimson Alternate, Black and Black Alternate. The roster:
- Ashton Daniels #14
- Chris Davis Jr #5
- Christian McCaffrey #5
- Elic Ayomanor #13
- Gaethan Bernadel #0
- Ismael Cisse #84
- John Elway #7
John Elway’s Black Alternate page is listed apart from his other four colors, so it can appear at a different spot in search results. A custom Set A listing covers all five colors.
Set B: Stanford Cardinal Jersey Vapor Limited College Football
Set B uses the same five colors but a shorter roster with one new name:
- Ashton Daniels #14
- Christian McCaffrey #5
- Elic Ayomanor #13
- Gaethan Bernadel #0
- Justin Lamson #8
Justin Lamson #8 is only in Set B. Chris Davis Jr, Ismael Cisse and John Elway are only in Set A. A custom Set B listing offers White, Crimson, Crimson Alternate, Black and Black Alternate as well.
Which set to choose
For the four names in both sets (Ashton Daniels, Christian McCaffrey, Elic Ayomanor and Gaethan Bernadel), the colors match, so compare the photos and pick the design you prefer. The two sets were listed separately, and small differences in trim or number style may show up in the images. For any other name, the roster decides it: Elway, Cisse and Davis Jr mean Set A; Lamson means Set B.
Crimson, red and the plural “Cardinals”
Both Vapor Limited sets call their red jersey Crimson, and the alternate version Crimson Alternate. The older custom listings use different words: they say Red instead of Crimson, and their titles use the plural “Stanford Cardinals”, as in Stanford Cardinals Custom Jersey Red College Football. If you are filtering by color, search for both Crimson and Red; if you are filtering by team name, try both the singular and the plural.
The custom listings for the two sets follow the same title pattern as the player pages. The Set A custom ends in “College Football Stitched” plus the color, and the Set B custom ends in “College Football” plus the color, so you can match a custom to the set you prefer.
A shared number
Number 5 is used by two Set A names, Christian McCaffrey and Chris Davis Jr. A separate older listing, Stanford Cardinal #5 Christian Mccaffrey NCAA Football Jersey Red, also carries it. Check the nameplate in the photos when ordering by number.
Other football and custom listings
Beyond the two sets, the Stanford Cardinals Custom Jersey listings come in White, White Pink, Red and Black. Some listings carry a patch add-on menu with 150th, 2022 or 2023 in black or white, or Without Extra Patch. The Stanford descriptions are general copy about personalized jerseys and do not state fabric or stitching details. Sizes run S to 3XL for Men, Women and Youth.
Baseball and basketball on the same page
Several listings are not football. Baseball jerseys include OMAHA 8 2023 NCAA Baseball College World Series pages in white and red with #00, 2022 College World Series customs in white and red, and a PAC-12 Conference Tournament Champs red version. Two custom basketball jerseys, a red one and a We Are BG red one, are filed here too. Their titles say Baseball or Basketball.
Read the title for the set, then choose the name and color. The Stanford Cardinal jersey list shows both sets together.
