With more than 800 listings, the Ohio State Buckeyes jersey category can be hard to scan by color. The quick answer: scarlet, white, gray and black are everywhere, gold-trim versions sit in their own lines, and only a handful of newer listings let you switch colors from a menu. This page sorts the catalog by shade so you can go straight to the version you have in mind.
Two ways the color is set
Most Buckeyes listings are one colorway each. The shade is the last word of the title, so “Scarlet”, “Gray” or “White Gold” tells you exactly what the photos show. If you want the same player in two colors, you open two listings.
A smaller group works the other way round. The newer multi-player listings, such as the Heritage Stripe 2025 CFP Final Patch Vapor Limited and Heritage Stripe 2025/26 Vapor Limited, have a Player menu and a Style menu on one page. Depending on the listing, that Style menu offers Black, Gray, Red and White, or Alternate, Black Gold, Black Limited and White Gold. Several custom listings carry a Choose Your Color menu instead, with combinations such as Black, Cream, Gray, Red and White.
Scarlet, white and gray: the core palette
The older patch lines are where scarlet shows up by name. The Brutus Buckeye Patch jerseys, both the 2023 version and the undated one, run in Black, Gray, Scarlet and White for Emeka Egbuka #2, Kyle McCord #6, Marvin Harrison Jr #18, Miyan Williams #3 and TreVeyon Henderson #32, with CJ Stroud #7 also listed. The Ohio Stadium Patch line keeps it to Black, Scarlet and White for the same group.
Three lines skip black and stay with Gray, Scarlet and White: the Logo Patch jerseys, the Good Year Cotton Bowl Patch jerseys and the Mascot Patch jerseys. The Cotton Bowl Patch 2023 line is even narrower, Scarlet and White only, but it has the widest player list of any title-color line. It includes Cade Stover #8, Devin Brown #33, Jermaine Mathews Jr #24, Josh Proctor #41, JT Tuimoloau #44 and Tommy Eichenberg #35 alongside Egbuka, McCord, Harrison Jr and Henderson.
Black and the alternates
If black is the goal, look at the Vapor lines. The Cotton Bowl Patch Vapor Football jerseys and the Vapor Limited Ohio Patch jerseys share one five-color set: Black, Black Alternate, Gray, Red Alternate and White. Note the wording here is “Red Alternate” rather than scarlet, so search both words if you are filtering by text.
The Special Vapor line labels its colors Limited Alternate, Limited Black and Limited White. Marvin Harrison Jr #18 is listed in Limited Black and Limited White only, while the other players in that line have all three.
Gold trim versions
Gold-accented jerseys are grouped in the Vapor Limited Gold Ohio Patch line. Its colorways are Alternate, Black Gold, Black Limited, Gray Gold and White Gold, offered for CJ Stroud #7, Emeka Egbuka #2, Kyle McCord #6, Miyan Williams #3 and TreVeyon Henderson #32. Miyan Williams has two White Gold listings with the same title, so do not be surprised by the duplicate.
Custom name-and-number listings follow the same idea with Gold Trim titles in Black, Gray, Scarlet and White, plus separate Alternate Black Gold Trim and Alternate White Gold Trim pages.
White-only and special finishes
The Ohio Map Patch line is the one place where white is the whole story. Each player has a White and a White Special listing, and there are Style 2 versions of both. If you are comparing small design differences, open the Style 2 page next to the original before choosing.
A custom 100th Anniversary Patch Scarlet Split Edition and two Split Vapor Limited customs labelled Browns Buckeyes and Bengals Buckeyes also appear. Those are split designs, so read the photos rather than relying on a single color word.
Patch add-ons do not change the color
Many older College Football listings carry a Choose Your Style menu. It adds a patch, not a color: the options include 150th, 2022 or 2023 in Black or White, Fiesta Bowl, Ohio Stadium, Peach Bowl, Rose Bowl Game, Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, or Without Extra Patch. The jersey shade stays whatever the title says.
Sizes, fabric and a few listings to skip
Gender choices are Men, Women and Youth, and sizes run S to 3XL. The product descriptions state a 100% recycled polyester body, stitched tackle twill letters and numbers, embroidered fabric applique and graphics, flatlock seams and moisture-wicking fabric.
About two dozen College Basketball Lightweight listings in scarlet and gray, two custom baseball jerseys and one custom hockey jersey in navy are filed here too. If a title says Basketball, Baseball or Hockey, it belongs to a different sport.
Spelling varies across titles: C J Stroud, C.J. Stroud and CJ Stroud all appear, as do Treveyon and TreVeyon, so try more than one spelling when searching. Pick the shade first, then the line, and the full Buckeyes jersey list narrows down quickly.
