Alabama Crimson Tide Jersey Numbers: Which Players Appear in Each Line

Two crimson Alabama number 17 jerseys on hangers, front view and back view with the Waddle nameplate

If you already know the name you want on the back, the hard part of the Alabama Crimson Tide jersey category is finding which edition carries it. Some names appear in five or six lines, some in exactly one, and a few show up with two different numbers. This map is organized by player so you can see every option for a name at once.

The names that appear almost everywhere

DeVonta Smith #6 is the most widely listed football name in the category. You will find him in the Vapor Limited Football Alabama Map line, both SEC Championship 2023 Patch lines (Vapor Gold and Vapor Limited), the Crimson Rose Bowl Patch line, the Vapor Stitched Alabama Map line and the 2021 CFP Championship Alabama Map jerseys, plus several older College Football listings in black, red and white.

Jalen Milroe #4 follows closely. He is listed in the same Alabama Map, SEC Championship 2023 and Rose Bowl Patch lines, in the Vapor College Football Limited Stitched line, and in the Rose Bowl Game 2024 Patch College Football Playoff jerseys. Jermaine Burton #3 shares most of that path, minus the Vapor College Football Limited line.

Players tied to the five-color Vapor group

Five names are grouped together across three lines that all use Black, Black Alternate, Crimson, Crimson Alternate and White: Derrick Henry #2, DeVonta Smith #6, Jalen Milroe #4, Jase McClellan #2 and Jermaine Burton #3. Those lines are Vapor Limited Football Alabama Map, SEC Championship 2023 Patch Vapor Gold and SEC Championship 2023 Patch Vapor Limited. The Crimson Rose Bowl Patch line uses the same colors but lists Derrick Henry in white only, and Jase McClellan has no white listing there.

Line-only rosters

Rose Bowl Game 2024 Patch, College Football Playoff

This is the deepest single-line roster, in Crimson and White. Most names here do not appear elsewhere in the football listings: Caleb Downs #2, Dallas Turner #15, Isaiah Bond #17, JC Latham #65, Justin Eboigbe #92, Kadyn Proctor #74, Terrion Arnold #3, Tyler Buchner #8 and Will Reichard #16. Jam Miller #6 and Ty Simpson #15 are also part of it.

Crimson Throwback Alabama Map

The throwback map jerseys have their own set: Deontae Lawson #0, Jam Miller #26, Joe Namath #12, Nick Saban #1, Ryan Williams #2 and Ty Simpson #15, with Bama #205 as a fan nameplate. A multi-player listing for this line adds a Player menu with #18 Crimson as another fan option.

2021 CFP Championship Alabama Map

Here the list is Bryce Young #9, DeVonta Smith #6, Jaylen Waddle #7, John Metchie III #8, Mac Jones #10, Najee Harris #22 and Nick Saban #1, with Champions #18 as the fan number. A multi-player version of this line puts those names in a Player menu with a color Style menu next to it.

Vapor College Football Limited Stitched

A legends-leaning set in Black, Crimson, Crimson Sleeves and White: Derrick Henry #2, Jalen Milroe #4, Joe Namath #12, Mac Jones #10, Najee Harris #22 and Nick Saban #1.

Same name, different number

A few names change number depending on the line, which matters if you are matching an existing jersey:

  • Jam Miller is #6 in the Rose Bowl 2024 CFP line and #26 in the Throwback Alabama Map line.
  • Jaylen Waddle is #7 in the 2021 CFP Championship jerseys and #17 in the older College Football listings.
  • Derrick Henry is #2 in most lines but #9 in the Vapor Stitched Football Alabama Map line; the store notes also record a #27 listing in the old line.
  • Nick Saban is #1 in the map and Vapor lines and #7 in the Champions Vapor Limited and Champions Gold Trim Vapor listings.

Shared numbers also occur. #2 belongs to Derrick Henry, Jase McClellan, Caleb Downs and Ryan Williams in different lines, and #15 to Ty Simpson, Dallas Turner, JK Scott and Ronnie Harrison.

The older College Football legends line

The undated College Football listings, mostly in Black, Red and White, hold the longest list of past names. It includes A.J McCarron #10, Henry Ruggs III #11, Joe Namath #12, JK Scott #15, Ronnie Harrison #15, Cam Sims #17, Kenyan Drake #17, Reggie Ragland #19, Jalen Hurts #2 and Dre Kirkpatrick #21. Many of these carry a patch add-on menu with options such as Allstate Sugar Bowl, Good Year Cotton Bowl, National Champions 2020, Rose Bowl Game or Without Extra Patch.

Custom options and fan numbers

Almost every line has a custom name-and-number listing, so you can put any name on the edition you like. Fan nameplates are Bama #205, Champions #18 and Crimson #18, plus Crimson Tide #26 on the 2025-26 Premium pages. Those Premium pages use a Navy, Orange and White color menu and their titles do not name a sport, so read the photos before treating them as football jerseys.

Other listings in the category

About a dozen basketball and fifteen baseball listings share this page, along with roughly fourteen Auburn Tigers Alabama Patch jerseys that belong to the Auburn catalog. Product descriptions for the football lines state a 100% recycled polyester body, stitched tackle twill, embroidered applique and graphics, and flatlock seams.

Find the name first, then compare the lines it appears in. The full Crimson Tide jersey list has a custom option for any number not covered above.
