Ohio Bobcats White Jersey: MVP White Patch or Uniform White?

If you want a white Ohio Bobcats jersey, the catalog gives you two separate lines: the 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl Patch MVP White set, which carries the bowl patch in its name, and the Uniform White set, which does not. Pick MVP White if the 2023 bowl season is part of why you want the jersey; pick Uniform White if you want a white jersey without a specific game tied to it, or if you want the option to match it with a green twin.

A note on the “MVP” label

“MVP White” is simply the store’s name for its white set within the 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl Patch line. It is a product label, not a description of any particular person, so read it as “the white version of the patch line.”

The game behind the patch

According to ohiobobcats.com, Ohio beat Georgia Southern 41-21 in the 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl. For fans who remember that December, a jersey with the patch in its name is a direct reminder of the season’s final win.

What is in each white line

2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl Patch MVP White

This set includes player listings and a custom option, all in white. Examples in the catalog:

• a Sieh Bangura #5 listing
• a Rickey Hunt #28 listing
• a Kurtis Rourke #7 listing
• a CJ Harris #10 listing
• a Sam Wiglusz #12 listing
• a custom name and number version in MVP White

The patch line also has custom green and black versions, but the player listings in it are white only.

Uniform White

The Uniform line comes in both white and green for most designs. White examples include a Vance Van Every #55 listing, a TJ Carrie #38 listing, a Bryce Houston #32 listing and a Jacoby Jones #8 listing, along with a custom name and number Uniform White option.

How to choose

Pick MVP White if

• You want the 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl Patch as part of the jersey.
• The listing you want, such as a Parker Navarro #13 or Miles Cross #19 design, only exists in the patch line.
• You plan to wear it mainly for bowl-season memories or a throwback day.

Pick Uniform White if

• You want a clean white jersey without a specific game in its name.
• You like the idea of owning the matching green version later.
• The listing you want, such as a Tarell Basham #93 or Cameron Odom #3 design, belongs to the Uniform line.

Practical points for any white jersey

White looks sharp but shows marks quickly. The store does not list material or care details for these Ohio pages, so follow the care label that comes with the jersey. A few general habits help: treat spots early, wash with other whites and keep it away from new dark clothes in the laundry.

If you want your own name

Both white lines include a custom version: Custom Ohio Bobcats Name and Number 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl Patch MVP White, and Custom Ohio Bobcats Name and Number Uniform White. The store has not posted separate written instructions for the custom fields, so follow the instructions on the product page.

Where to start

To see the patch line in person, open the Sieh Bangura number 5 jersey in MVP White and look at the photos. Then compare it with the Uniform White listings in the Ohio Bobcats jersey collection, where both lines sit side by side.

Summary

• MVP White: white set of the 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl Patch line.
• Uniform White: white set of the Uniform line, often paired with a green twin.
• Choose by the listing you want and whether the bowl patch matters to you.
